DALI-2 Certification Program Brings the Promise of Significantly Improved Interoperability and Additional Functionality Compared with Current DALI Systems.
Moorpark, CA – December 18, 2018– ERP Power LLC (ERP), a leading provider of small, smart and connected LED drivers for the lighting industry, has joined the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA) as an Associate Member. The DiiA is an open, global consortium of lighting companies with an aim to grow the market for lighting-control solutions based on IEC 62386, the international standard for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) technology. DiiA is a partner program of the IEEE-ISTO established in response to industry requests for an independently-verified certification program that covers the functionality specified in DALI-2, the latest version of the IEC 62386 family of standards. Certified DALI-2 products are eligible to carry the DALI-2 Certification Mark, issued by DiiA, which signifies interoperability on a global basis according to IEC 62386. Only certified products can carry the DALI-2 Mark, and only DiiA members can certify their products.
